Cynthia and I had our favorite baked scallops for dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. What are the chances.. I picked the 1st scallops served at our table when I happen to chew on something hard. i thought it was a stone. I was about to complain to the waiter but when I spit out what I thought was stone, turns out to be a tiny pearl - two of 'em! I mean, what are the chances of you eating scallops and chewing on a pearl, right? Maybe this is a sign.... Maybe I should try lotto? watchuthink? hehe

I wrote this when I was serving my internship in Ilo-ilo. Out of boredom I guess. =' )

Every morning is a mystery, not knowing the things that await us.
All we have are the brittle plans and right now.
But we've got to live each day no matter what comes or goes.
waking up is the first challenge.
A lot more to conquer.
If the sun above you presents a blue sky, it's not always a good day.
conversely, if the clouds stands in front of the light and dim fills the sky,
it's not always a bad day.
Anything goes.
So it is best to prepare for what is unseen.
But how?
What things to bring when we know not where we're going?
Just bring what is essential. Take what you need.
And always expect the unexpected.
If you feel fear lurks around you, and doubts fill up your baggage,
take it as a challenge, not a hindrance or a reason to stop.
Nobody knows what tomorrow brings or if the morning sings a different tune
peculiar to the evening.
Nobody really knows what is in store for us today.
But nevertheless, we all get our eternal sleep.

Here are the words to my latest song. This is to the tune of Parokya ni Edgar's "maybe someday", which is actually a Christmas song but the melody is also fitting for a hopeless romantic love song. So I decided to change the words. I haven't recorded this song yet. You can download Parokya ni Edgar's "maybe someday" at limewire so you could check it out. Then try to imagine to fit my lyrics into that song. I guess some guys can relate to this song. hekhek...=' ) My version is called "Maybe one day".

Fishda!

Here are a few shots of what my new hobby is like... =' ) So I didn't have any interest in the fish world then. But most people at work have pet fishes. They keep urging me to be one of them "fisher-men". So I did try. Now? I have three aquariums. *hekhek* You guys should try this. "Pawala sa stress" as my barkada once told me. I cant disagree.
That lone fish on the topmost is the now-popular flowerhorn. This is a must have for fish enthusiast. Then I have the funny, goofy gold fishes, of different varieties like the red cap, black moore, rayukin, bubble eye, telescopic eye, etc... They're fun to watch but they eat a lot, so they shit a lot. But I don't mind. =' ) Then lastly are the tiny breed of fish (gupy, glass fish, tiger barb) This has got to be my favorite. I dont know why. It just is. hehe

Rough Demo

This is my very first unpublished, unsponsored, unheard album. It's labeled "Rough Demo" since the recording is a little sketchy. But hey, it's the song that counts (whatever that means). I recorded this at home, when I was with myself. It features all original compositions by me and my drinking buddies. See what alcohol mixed with a few string strumming can do? hehe Anywaz, we're proud of this. I'll be uploading the songs soon. (once I figure out how...hekhek)
